John attended the University of Delaware, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. He was originally trained by his father in the institutional bond business and earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) designation.
John specializes in retirement income. His clientele is in the NC Triangle and throughout the US. He is active in the community and is the past President of Triangle Professionals and he is active on non-profit boards. He has been teaching martial arts for over 30 years. John, his wife, Elaine, and children, Vivian, Molly, Mack and Miller, live in Durham, North Carolina.
